Sound Healing Parents

A concert for babies | Sound Healing with Handpan

Thursday, April 24th at 4:00 PM

Accessible to all families

Yoga Natal has prepared a special surprise for our community—a sound healing session designed especially for new moms, babies (up to 1 year old), and their partners.

We’ll begin with a grounding meditation, inviting you to settle into the space and connect with your breath. Then, you’ll be immersed in the calming melodies of the handpan, an ethereal instrument that offers layered soundscapes of tone, rhythm, and vibration for an immersive experience of sound. It is known for its warm, meditative qualities that promote deep relaxation, tranquility, and calm.

For babies in the womb, sound is one of their earliest senses to develop, and soothing rhythms can support their nervous system. For newborns and infants, music has been shown to aid in emotional bonding, cognitive development, and better sleep patterns. And for parents? It’s a moment of calm and connection.
Connect with the community. This session is a chance to meet other parents from the neighborhood and from the Yoga Natal community.
The atmosphere is informal and baby-friendly—you’re welcome to feed, cuddle, or tend to your little one as needed. We also have ample reception and locker space, with space for strollers to make your visit smooth and comfortable.

On the menu:

  • Welcoming space and sharing with herbal tea at the reception.
  • Concert space with blankets and accessories available for comfort.
  • Intuitive movements and dance with baby !
  • Relaxation with aromatherapy and sounds.
  • Closing space with sharing.

This event is for families with babies.
Feel free to move, step out, or nurse your baby as needed. We understand the postnatal phase and have tailored this concert to be flexible and supportive for you and your baby.
