Class description. This weekly prenatal yoga class supports you through every trimester with movements specifically designed for pregnancy. The aim is simple: calm the mind, prepare the body, strengthen confidence, and cultivate the inner focus needed for labor. Physical exercise and mindful movement remain some of the most effective ways to prepare for labor and ease the common discomforts of pregnancy. This gentle class, influenced by Hatha and Yin traditions, is accessible to all levels and safe to practice throughout pregnancy.

In this type of practice, you will experience:

✨ Postures and breathwork that promote relaxation
✨ Pelvic floor preparation and awareness to support birth and postpartum recovery
✨ Pelvic mobility work to encourage optimal fetal positioning and comfort
✨ Massages and acupressure points to reduce stress and tension
✨ Creative visualization and concentration exercises to cultivate your “birthing bubble” — the focused, inward space that supports labor
✨ Postures that create space for your baby
✨ Anti-sciatic sequences to prevent and relieve back pain
✨ Conscious connection with your baby
✨ Increased confidence in the birth process
Beyond the physical and mental preparation, this space offers an opportunity to connect with other expecting mothers and build your community.
Weekly themes. We offer balanced classes with a specific focus each week:
🪷 Classes 1–2: Exploring the pelvic floor: awareness, relaxation, and functional engagement.
✨ Classes 3–4: Focus on the uterus and the creative force.
🔥 Classes 5–6: Building strength and confidence in the birthing process, stamina, and mental resilience.
💗 Classes 7–8: Opening the heart space.
🤰 Classes 9–10: Connection with baby.
🌀 Classes 11–12: Concentration and the birth bubble: going inward, and creating a protective internal space during labor.
🧘‍♀️ Class 13: “Joker” session: a flexible catch-up class used if a previous session is canceled.
Your teacher: Oana Balmau, trained birth and postpartum doula, following the Yoga-Natal curriculum.
 Practical information:

✨Please bring a water bottle and a small towel
